In common with most Masonic Lodges, the Office-bearers who commit themselves to the Lodge would like to see more of our Brethren attending our twice-monthly Regular Meetings and extend a welcome to any visiting Brethren who wish to come along.

Remember also that our Social Events are not restricted to Masonic Brethren and Lodge Members are free to invite relatives and friends to join us in the Lodge on these occasions.

CENTENARY YEAR 2009

This year the Lodge will celebrate 100 years of Freemasonry in the ABCD villages.

A History of the Lodge titled 'Hurkyndorath & Lodge St Fothad's No 1059' has been published to commemorate the event.

Copies are available from the Lodge at a very reasonable cost of 5 pounds


Centenary Lodge ties are available now from the Lodge and a Jewel has been struck to commemorate the Centenary. Other items of memorabilia are also available.

Sunday 8 November - Brethren attend Church Service in Auchterderran St Fothad's Parish Church followed by Remembrance Service at the village War Memorial.

17 November: Regular Meeting- Raising by Lodge Officebearers

Saturday 28 November - St Andrews Night Ceilidh

1 December   : Regular Meeting  - Raising by special Degree Team.

On Friday 4  December, brethren from Lodge St Fothad's, Lodge Coupar o' Fife #19, Lodge Ballingry #1183, Lodge Glenrothes #1549 and Lodge Templehall #1599 will travel to Switzerland to present an emulation of the 3rd Degree (based on the ritual used by Lodge St Fothad's) in the Lindenhof in Zurich . The degree team carrying out this work will tonight present it in Lodge St Fothad's. The Lodge will Tyle as usual at 7.15 PM. 

The following evening The same team will travel on to Basel to take part in the Installation of  WM Elect Bro Marc Westermann and his Office-bearers in St Andrew's Lodge #83, Swiss Grand Lodge Alpina, in the Masonic Halls, Byfangweg, Basel.
