The photographs have either been cropped from the Founding Mambers' Photograph displayed in the Lodge and reproduced on our Lodge History page or have been supplied by the PM himself or a member of his family.

We are lucky to have been able to obtain these photographs of the early Masters of Lodge St Fothad's as they give us a link to the history of the Lodge.

For example:  PM Bro R. Lessels (1911-12) moved to Kent some time after his spell on the Chair;

PM Bro A Simpson (1914-16) Managed the 'Goth' Picture House in Bowhill;

PM Bro G. Beveridge (1922-23) worked as Manager at Dundonald Miners' Welfare Institute;

PM Bro W. McGuire (1929-31) worked as Janitor at Denend Primary School;

PM Bro F. Evans (1937-40) was the village Cobbler/Bootmaker;

PM Bro T. Chrisp (1944-46) Originally from Alnwick, Northumberland, farmed at Balgreggie where his son is carrying on the business.

PM Bro J. Harley (1960-62) was Blacksmith at Chapel Village, Kirkcaldy and afterwards Sales Rep for an Oil and Lubrications company;

PM Bro E. Scott (1963-64) was Bath and Washroom Attendant at Bowhill Colliery and well-known as a Drummer in a local Dance Band.

PM Bro J. Miller (1964-66) was a Fireman and Deputy at various mines in the area, eventually at the Longannet complex.

Any other snippets of information will be more than welcome to 'flesh out ' the characters of our past.
